EIGHT BLUESY PIECES

The first seven pieces draw their themes from folksongs or gospels having entered tradition; they are not blues in the classical meaning but pieces made bluesy by introducing some ingredients of the blues.
Far from devaluating blues, this shows on the contrary how blues can take a more or less important place in music styles that are not initially its own, and therefore spread its influence.
The last piece is, excepted the introduction of some punctual developments, a very classically featured, “hardline” blues, that contrasts with the previous ones.

Some videos displayed in the site are not always very bluesy due to they are short extracts and the pieces of the album become bluesy in a progressive way.

The scores are moved by means of Vivaldi Gold software.
You can follow their playing in real time on your computer’s screen (reading and listening automatically synchronized), with possibility of reducing the tempo, separating the play of left and right hands etc...,
or listening to them in MP3 when you are at your piano, or putting the MIDIs in some electronic keyboards. You can also print (or make print) the pdf files of the scores.
All the Vivaldi moved scores are now compatible with Windows 7.
